When we left Louisiana it was still coming out of a very cold winter. We don't have winters hard enough to freeze the mosquitoes usually so this year was surprising. It was grey and bleak but the flowers were starting to come out and it was starting to warm up and it was hard to leave and think about going North where it was, no doubt, much colder. These are our peach blossoms. Now as I post this it's May 22, and the peaches are almost ripe.
