On the other hand...

I did promise pictures so you are all forgiven for not commenting LOL!!
It's still gorgeously Summer here and I find myself growling in the A/C people seem to think they need... It's only 98 with 100% humidity (tell me how it does this without RAINING???) and it's glorious outside. Inside my office it's about 74 and I am wearing a sweater. I love weather, it's fascinating. I especially love the clouds here. Last night we saw a cloud that was black on the bottom and gradually getting lighter to fluffy white icing on the top as it emptied. We never did get wet; it only rained in Milton and Youngsville. I like it when you see the line on the pavement where the rain starts. We saw another cloud that looked like the Pillsbury Dough Boy holding his arm up like the Statue of Liberty. What would you call that? Cookies of Liberty? Anyway it is a wonderful place to live as long as there are no Swirling Winds of Death around, or at least on our west side. I did tell you that we had a beautiful day when Katrina hit.
I am still trying to deal with begging rides for everything. I miss a lot of stuff just because I am not willing to inconvenience anyone, yet when I do ride with friends we have fun. I just have trouble being ... what do you call it? parambulatory? I can walk just not drive. We went to Petsmart to pick up food for our live food storage (oops I mean the dog and cats) and got Eliz Ice Cream because she got shots and went home. I NEVER go one place. Since the days when I had kids in car seats I always go at least 3 if not 10 places when I go anywhere, because I CAN and because I don't have to get kids out of car seats at every stop and I appreciate it. True, this was two places, but Petsmart is right by Office Depot and the kids need wide rule notebook paper, expo markers, and a red folder. It's also right by a dollar store and I have money in my budget for Christmas.... you know how it goes. Anyway I am appreciating my driver's License and will wear that baby out when I get the chance. Even when people are really nice, they aren't going to shop like I want to shop. So I am learning a lot about leaning.

Daddy's new Kitteh is finally named, Beatrix. You know it's Trixie for short. Long grey fur with stripey face... yeah, I will get some pictures. Fozzie has been very tolerant. Except when he hisses. Truly though the dog (Tilly)and Trixie seem to be getting along famously. If Trixie turns out to be a boy it will be Kyle. You remember who names the pets, right?
